Bath time

Dear Naomi,

Giving you baths is so much fun, especially now that you are a little more at home in the water.  Mama bought a new tub for you where you can move around the water more freely instead of that thing we used to put you in the sink with ( I never like that thing personally).  You really look like you are having fun in there!  I think you'll be swimming in no time....just like me.

Mama taking pictures too

Dear Naomi,

Occasionally, Mama gets a chance to take pictures of you too.  When I first saw these I just loved them so much!  Mama would say that she got lucky, but I like to think it's a little more than that ;).  Great job Mama!

Tummy time

Dear Naomi,

Look how strong you are getting!  You sometimes get frustrated if we let you do it for too long, but you are quickly getting the hang of it.  You'll be crawling in no time baby.

Papa

Smiles

Dear Naomi,

Every now and again we get treated to you just being silly, but nothing is more enjoyable than watching you just lounge with us, smiling away.  I really think it is quite possibly the cutest thing in the whole world.  Literally.  Thank you for the smiles baby :)

Papa

Reflection

Dear Naomi,

It's so fun seeing you becoming more aware.  Now you seemed to have found what your reflection is even though you technically don't know it's you yet.  This definitely makes for some great entertainment and laughs for your Mom and I.  This photo has quickly become one of my favorites.

Happy 2 Months!!

Dear Naomi,

The past two months have just flown by!  I can't help but marvel in how fast you are not only growing physically, but also in your mental and conscious growth.  You quite literally soak up the world around you.  You conversate with us now too......in your own 2 month old baby kind of way. It's amazing to see how you've developed your own kind of independence.  You are not afraid to let us know when you want to be on your own, sitting comfy to yourself.  We have learned some of your favorite things, such as, our family evening walks, looking out the window, staring at lights or pictures on the wall, playing the smiling game with Mama and Papa, playing with your mobil toys, listening to your favorite songs, and you may have now graduated from bouncing on the ball to swinging away in your swing.  But most importantly, we have seen you understand who your Mama and Papa are.  I sometimes wonder to myself if you can feel our love as we smother you with kisses and gaze at you?  I sometimes wonder if you understand that no matter what window you choose to look through in life, we will always be there to protect, guide and love you.

Thank you Naomi.  Thank you for two months of love and joy.

Papa

Uncle Timmy

Dear Naomi,

You finally met your Uncle Timmy.  A quick few days, but just enough time for the two of you to get acquainted with one another.  Timmy, the gentle giant as you might call him, took to holding you very cautiously and gently.  Like any young uncle, he meandered lovingly around you with a very quite, but watchful distance, coming to your Mom's aid when she called and offering a very welcome extra hand. He even saved my weekend from doing 6 loads of laundry and cooked his famous yummy chicken. We were glad to have him around and even more glad that the two of you had some time to spend together.

Papa
