Dear Naomi,
A year ago, we took you to see the doctor for the very first time. You were just a little thing then, soaking things in for the first time. I remember perfectly the face you made when we first placed you into the scale. I can imagine it felt cold and hard and not to comfortable. Funny how a full year of casual check-ins with the doc has turned you into a pro. You almost seemed proud to be in the scale after this time around - as if you too recognized what a big milestone this was for you. You lit up the room just like you always do.
love,
Papa
